How can one crop a photo on Lightroom without reducing the size of the photo?
When I load photos onto Lightroom they are at 5 or 6 MB. I then do some cropping to get in closer and the photo ends up as 568kb.

Re: CROPPING PHOTOS?????
I’m not sure about Lightroom, but in Photoshop you can set the resolution after cropping and it will increase the image size. I normally set mine to 300 which is the resolution that printers work with.
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.
Re: CROPPING PHOTOS?????
when you export the photo to save the photo there is a setting saying image size. Here you can set the dpi and pix of the photo to the size you want or as it was before you croppedsteamtrainfan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 9:53 pm How can one crop a photo on Lightroom without reducing the size of the photo?

Yes Pete always save on the max or if you are using the pic to post online then move the size/quality slider to the left
