When we went to Kruger as youngsters, as we drove out of camp each morning my dad would say "Eyes down looking for a full house". If he didn't say it we would remind him, otherwise we thought we would have bad sightings. When we started going with the Brat, my dad revived the old tradition and the Brat would also remind him if he forgot! lol

Our tradition - mine and okiedokie -- is that I do the driving and the spotting , while she sits in the passenger seat , and sleeps :O^

Hmmm.... well , actually , she always sleeps when I drive , no matter where it is 0*\

Way , way back , when we first took our kids to Kruger , they had a game , counting all the animals , and actually writing up numbers in a book .
After a few days , they became quite bored with this , and they remarked about the amazing heaps/lumps of animal poop in the road , and I think it was my son who started calling it " baff " :O^
Now , even today , we still call it " baff " -- like ellie-baff , or buff-baff , or , if it is quite fresh , splatter-baff ;-)
