Lucky you RP!

Never have I ever seen the KNP so green and lively! - to such an extent that I'm almost green with envy! :-0

And lovely sitting in the coolth over where the water flows! O/\

Further down, the rhino with the second longest horn I have ever seen!

Difficult to see, but actually two had big horns!

Back at camp we experimented with having an afternoon nap in the tent! O\/

It didn't work very well...it was hotazel, and the tent is behind the garage, which has a tyre pumping compressor that releases steam with an explosion now and again, or rings a bell, I can't remember.

As I nodded off twelve buses with schoolkids arrived there too, which is very therapeutic noise for us teachers, so we slept a little better.

We arose and had a bit of a X#X , and phoned Sprocky to discuss the rugby as Bulls were playing Sharks! O:V

Sprocky abused me roundly for suggesting we would thump the Sardines, but promised to give an update of scores regularly. The phone was strangely silent, though...(Of course even my phone can check internet, so we noticed the Bulls were thumping them!) I sent an sms to Sprocks requesting a score and asking why the silence?

Half-time response was a that it was just a minor problem. No response after that as Bulls won by about 50 points! =O:

Anyway, off for an evening drive! O\/

Proper horn indeed! Hope it'll be allowed to keep it though 0'

I like the colours of your idyllic scene! Green, blue and white make a great combination in landscape photos for me ^Q^

Ja, Mello! There used to be a mutant female near Pretoriuskop with a maybe 1.6m flat front horn MANY years ago, we called her Sarah Langhoring! lol

This was one of the prettiest evening drives I have ever had, light being great like the previous day.

It was very therapeutic and something I had really needed as I was tired.

A strange tree:

We went down the road to the Hippo Pools, haven't been there in decades!

Macro photography on an Intruder Drone! O-/

And a smashing sunset! :-0

I had to go and beg Elly for a pot so that we could make pap and sheba with the braai that night...really beg this time. It was great sitting there on their steps waiting for them, as eventually little bushbabies started popping out of the corner post at the fence there!

A successful farewell ensued, and the next day it had rained and we left! lol

Nice meeting them again! X#X X#X X#X

END OF THIS TRIP
