We entered melalane on Sunday 23rd at about 11am.
A few km from the gate, we were passed by a SANP bakkie with a comatose male lion on the back. Could it have been this lion ?

Re: Marloth Park Conservancy
Update on lion that escaped near Marloth and was released back into kruger :
Our Life in Kruger is feeling excited.
10 hrs ·
Remember the male lion that escaped from Kruger a few months ago? He was quite the media sensation then and I was fortunate to get a picture of him when he was being brought back to the park.
Yesterday, I photographed three beautiful lions and the big male was identified by William of "Lions of the Kruger National Park" as our Kruger escapee, N4 lion! He is looking in stunning condition and from what I could see the three of them have a strong bond!
Full circle for me and very exciting! You can read the blog I wrote then here: http://ourlifeinkruger.co.za/2018/09/26 ... af30fvODAA
