Next up - a male seen 10/15 PM slightly south of Rooiputs. Could not match him up with Tyson or Asafa, nor the Kij Kij June males, but I'm no where near as good as you - help please.
Edit by Mel: Fancy was found dead on 27th November 2018

We spotted these guys just past The turn off to the Auob river
All of sudden mom got up and started chasing something which was a baby Springbok, only later did we see that it was a orphan as mom was already cat food
She then brought it back to the Cubs , now it was there turn for training

I picked up a cheetah sighting on the Namibia forum (it's from Switzerland). It was on the 21 November 2018 near Rooibrak.
A female cheetah (Hanri) had caught a springbok. No sign of her daughter. Hanri was calling for her though but the kid didn't
show up The visitors eventually moved further north and bumped into a young cheetah. Turned out to be Hanri's offspring.
But not long after she had appeared a second female showed up behind her. The other - older - female basically delivered
the younger one to her mother's doorstep. But she was never allowed to share some of the kill. Hanri wouldn't have it. So,
at some point the foreign female left again. Turned out to be Lizzie - Corinne's daughter from the 2016 litter.
Them two - Hanri and Corinne - are really something when it comes to their respective offspring!

We were able to trail them almost all the way to Auchterlonie, watching them mark their territory. They also kept turning around and calling, although I'm not really sure who they were missing. I managed to ID them as two boys from Gina's last litter. Gina is (or maybe "was" by now) a female that calls the area from Nossob up to Union's End her home. That's quite some way off from where I found her boys. Anyway, Gina's last litter consisted of four cubs. She lost one after a few months. The three remaining were one female and two males. So I'm not sure who these two were looking for. But maybe they have made a friend on their journey. Who knows.
