Our morning drive began, once again, with guess who?…
There were only two of us (cars) at the sighting, and the cubs took turns using our cars as play things for their games - was fun to look out the window and see their tails, etc sticking out from under the car and hear them so close up -
Next family to add to the list - LBR courtship feeding
Our next cheetah sighting was our first encounter of the trip with Hanri and cub.
Last cheetah sighting of the day was WAY far away up on the dune, so no way to tell who it was, but we had seen 6 different cheetah that day, which always puts a smile on our faces.
It seemed even the adult squirrels were celebrating springtime, and were in a dancing mood.
A playful one-two punch
I can sit and watch them for hours as they seem so happy to be amongst their family members, acting like kids again...

Lovely cheetahs
Seeing Hanri's cub so grown up ( since Nov. 2017) is almost like seeing a family member after a few years
Squirrels always seem to have great fun and they can go on and on. It always makes me in a good mood watching them
Stupendous photos like always
Thank you for fixing the photo

Uh, ah, I love that cheetah cub messing around sighting!
It's been some time since we had the cheetahs in the road like that.
But I rather not complain… at least we had good sightings of them again on our last trip.
Had been a while before that
And those squirrels… always great to watch when they are up to something

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Like the Garden of Eden there!
Cheetahs all over the place!
I also like the cubs playing under the car!
And great chipmunk studies!
Very good, Ex!

Our move to KK unveiled some of the common, but still beautiful, animals along the way.
Gemsbok
Hartebeest
Another family group
A sighting of some familiar friends greeted us as we approached KK
A couple of the insects seeking moisture around our unit
An insect inside the unit
More visitors after dark

We spent our afternoon game drive with a delightful family of meerkats
What could possibly be cuter than a meerkat baby???
TWINS!
Triplets???
None of the above…Quadruplets!!!
TLC
Dad takes a more "laid back" approach to parenting
Playing is SO tiresome
Bunk beds
Babies of any species are so endearing, and meerkats have to rank way up there on the smile-inducing scale.
