I LOVE Biyamiti weir O/\ Wonderful to see it so full.

"Momprins was utterly fascinated by this stork and derided it for extreme waste of time and unmitigated optimism!" Now THAT's funny! =O: \O

One of my favourite places in Kruger, Richprins,

sigh - Those causeways are always full of waterbirds when the water is flowing over them - Love it X#X

Merci!

What we had stopped for was a leopard...a proof shot! It was gone immediately into the thick bush... 0/*

Ironically the leopard was the only member of the big 5 we would see that day - must be a record?

Anyway, we now moved very quickly indeed to Crocobridge as Momprins was struggling. It was irritating to book in and wait needlessly while your Mom is in need of rest, while one official was apparently wasting time storing booze confiscated from day visitors instead of helping guests!

We soon got sorted, and went into the disabled hut. Surprise surprise, I was given one AGAIN...this happens disturbingly often. :-? O-/

After Momprins was settled I buggered off to leave her in peace, never mind the weather! :-0

Lunch was not a problem, as there was an extra chicken-mayo sub, courtesy of her nausea! O/\

The thing is that around that area one can see for miles regardless of the season, so if one car stops one spots it kilometres away and goes for a look. There were cars on the S-25, and Supermom Cheetah and her 4 cubs were there! ^Q^

I had more important things to worry about, though. This was the first weekend of rugby after 4 months and I had 54 games to catch up on, so off I went to Gezantombi Dam for peace and quiet to get some signal on the laptop! How pleasant that was! X#X

But the signal was indifferent, so back to the cheetahs, why not? ..0..

One of my happiest moments, much-needed! Rugby, cheetahs in the background, a spot of tea, and me sitting in the fancy car with the sunroof open etc. What more can a man ask for? ;-)

But as you can see it was drizzling and the cheetahs were going nowhere, so I shot off to Hippo Pools, where there would surely be even better signal... :-0
Unusual that this pan was dry...like the dam... 0-

Superb scenery as the clouds came and went! [O]

Hippo pools was a rainy vodacomless mess, so I returned... lol

Why bother about rugby when in Kruger :-?

Poor Momprins :-(

I’ve found the reception very busy as it is facing the gate and there’s always people going in O/

What cheetahs -O-

Next trip to the bush??
