And exceptional stork shots, I always forget how to distinguish the male and female...

My favourite is the arriving ellie under the tall trees, it always makes for a different perspective!

Again, Sis, your scenic/flower pics are really lovely - it's always nice to be reminded that even when there's "nothing there", there is PLENTY there - beauty, serenity, power, subtlety, new sprouts juxtaposed against old giants, all rolled up into one... Thanks for the reminder.

The Masorini info. is very interesting, and the butterfly on the yellow/orange flowers was a nice perk in the pic.

Thank you, Sis In places where there is no real wildlife around, people still go for a walk and enjoy the countryside, the trees, flowers, the water and the feeling of freedom, if there is nothing else. You cannot take photos of a sensation, but it is just as important as an impression through the eyes.
Unfortunately, I saw very few reptiles and have already entered those

Your photos are really nice an crisp - love the ellies and zebra pics, but especially the S-B Storks. I like the "heart" on its chest, pink kneepads matching its pink shoes - so fashion forward and not matchy-matchy.

I love to sit and observe baboons, too - so comical and expressive. Ground hornbills, ellie taking a mud bath, and that view of Shikumbu is so striking.

It really seems like you enjoyed yourself - so happy for you!

Time to leave and off I went, destination sable Dam. Already at some distance I could hear an incredible loud racket and thought to myself: “There must be a fox in the hen house” but there were only Egyptian geese all over the place. The noise that they made was incredible
