Yes, originally they used actual elephant tusks! Then what happened? -O-

Although they are very convincing fakes, occasionally these tusks go missing. The elephant herds living in the area are often the thieves, removing the tusks or destroying them.

Yes, Lis! \O

Actually, more accurately, they began at first with real tusks when the camp was built (the days before poaching) and the elephants repeatedly came and removed them for some reason... 0*\

So henceforth the fakes! :-0

We stopped at the loops on the Olifants River, going North! Lovely early-morning, light! \O

And saw absolutely bugger-all all the way to Letaba! :-? O-/

Frew: "So what is the plan, your Grace?" (We were in Game of Thrones mode.)

RP: "Fear not, Little Finger! We shall travel to the ancient Mill of Winds at Nwanetsi, where we shall await such beasts as may wish to make their appearance!"

Mam: "Your Grace, a Raven!"

q2.jpg

RP: "Where?"

Mam: "Here, your Grace..."

q1.jpg

Frew: "Your Grace, the raven reports that Nwanetsi has fallen."

RP: "Nonsense! I am the King of the North, and no man living nor dead shall dare disrupt my plans. It must be the other Nwanetsi! Forward, we shall water the horses at the Ancient Lake of Nhlanganini."

Mam: "Very well, your Grace."

We arrived at the lake:
