Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Thanks Richwit, Alf, Flutters, Roger and Pumbaa!
Now for pics taken this week.
First up, a Lioness on my way to work on Friday morning...
This shot is from my deck, these guys were making full use of the thermals...
There is something about a Fever Tree that Monkeys and Squirrels love...
This Hornbill was perched outside my bedroom window...
More to come soon from my drive this morning.

Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Time for my Sunday morning drive.
This mommy Hog watched my every move as I left the house...
At the river, this Ellie claimed his own island...
Then, a lifer for me, a Bronze-winged Courser...
This last one I need help with please. I claim it to be an Ayres Hawk Eagle, but I can't see myself being so lucky with two lifers in one morning???
Until next time, from the banks of the Olifants...

Cute squirrel
All hornbills are terribly curious (Maybe apart from the ground hornbill )
What the raptor is concerned, I think that you'll have to do with African Hawk-Eagle (No heavily striked underparts)

Some great pics! How lucky to see lion on the way to work!!
I'd also go with African Hawk-eagle.

Very nice, Sparky!
Well done with the courser...never seen one!
Was the eagle alone or in a pair?
