I remember the first (and actually only time) I heard a lion roar so hard the the ground shook -
an amazing experience! I've been waiting for a repeat, but so far only feeble imitators O**

But it is a bit scary to have them so close by. You always need to be on the lookout when you move around the camp.
Not sure if I'd manage to keep my wits together - especially once the blissful Kgalagadi ignorance to the outside world
sets in and the brain slows down recognizing shapes and such. lol


God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
