Finally we were even allowed to take some real close ups.
Besides the impalas it is such great pleasure to also see the park that green and the grass so high.
A little further on we spotted another white winged widowbird
and in the many deeper puddles along the road we came across a couple of blue waxbills who arrived
to quench their thirst and it was indeed a great come and go of these birds.
Next stop was then at Gardenia hide although a lot of cars were standing at the parking lot we dared to pay a visit there and first we were shocked about the number of people in the hide at least all of them behaved quiet and so we sat down and started to scan the area.
A group of impala had arrived or was about to arrive to take a drink
and some started a fight.
We spotted a lot of terrapins,
discovered one of the very well hidden water dikkops,
