Good work RP. Might be an idea for the future to make a good 'reading' article on this.
Just to shed the light on some dark spots

The Thebe Investment has only to do with the Selati Luxury Train Accommodation, if I don't error, so maybe better move what is relative to that topic?

To cut a long story short: According to a very recent ( 4 May 2019) NEWS ARTICLE (CLICK HERE), the Thebe Tourism Group bought a 50% share in Chief's Tented Camp.
IN OTHER WORDS: the company owing the company owning the KRUGER SHALATI Luxury (5 star) Train Accommodation near Skukuza, bought a significant share of 50% in the company Chiefs Tented Camp that exploits and operates the dubious Pop-up camp near Skukuza.

Re: Pop-up camp to open in Kruger National Park
Here is a different view from a very senior tourism lady:
Know them well .... they run a helluva product. I think its good for Kruger. People do game drives, so less tourist vehicles on the roads. Same guys who run the Namaqua tented camp every year.
The camp itself is off the beaten track, no tourists in the area, except for gameviewers servicing the camp. Im sure you agree that 1 gameviewer is better than 5 tourist cars.
Furthermore it is setup .... what you bring in you take out principle.
I actually think we need more of these type of setups, takes pressure off traditional visitors "tights"
Not sure how the finances are run, but it normally works on a lump sum, or a percentage of turnover, whichever is the greatest. Even in the case of an unsolicited bid, which I would imagine this to be.
Very strong emphasis is placed on BEE Ownership!!
With regards to Thebe .... as with any business you have to keep your shareholders happy, irrespective of who they are. Nothing sinister about that, or am I mis reading something.

Re: Pop-up camp to open in Kruger National Park

yes but this wont be the case it will be 1 game viewer + 5 tourist cars + all the tourist cars entering a gate to go to Skukuza pickup point .+ the guests at the hotel + the guests at the train + the new private camp near Pretoriuskop + the planned tented camp at Malelane + the camping at the picnic spot +++++ People need to start looking at the bigger picture not isolated developments IMHOIm sure you agree that 1 game viewer is better than 5 tourist cars.

It is about congestion. No vehicles is better than one vehicle.

Re: Pop-up camp to open in Kruger National Park
They are also just looking at it as just clients. There are staff that need to go in and out from there, deliveries food, booze etc. The equipment , tents, chairs, beds, flooring, furnishings for tents and lounges, toilets, water, electricity, cooking equipment, refuse, needs to be brought in and taken out, so it is not just 1 gameviewer.
