Nice to sit and watch lion at camp, Supernigerian!
I wonder how long that dustbin has been broken?
Ja, the bats were punishment for letting a girl stay alone with a boy in one of the huts!

A few years ago when we also stayed in one of the BDU3 bungalows the people next door also complained about the smell and after an hour or so they were moved to another unit

It is useless making baboon proof dustbins if they don't repair the broken ones
I have learned by experience that some of the cleaning staff have a very different understanding of "clean" that the one of the guests coming to stay in the camps
Training, training and training and then control, control and control. SANParks will never learn

Day 3 – 20th August 2017 continued..
This morning the drive was up the H4-1 to Skukuza, always been a lucky drive for us. We were in search of a Leopard but just Nkhulu, Kelly spotted dogs on the river bank, I was quite impressed that a Kruger newbie had out spotted us while driving behind us
.

It looked as if they were watching something in the water, maybe fish ??

They followed the river for a few hundred meters then headed up to the S30 and off into the bush.

How lucky, SN!
The dogs are always very curious about water, for some reason...maybe scared of crocodiles?

So, almost the big five on the first day, heh?
And the wild dogs next morning - very cool
I can relate to that bat smell... in the KTP it's sometimes so bad in certain camps that you can't even use the provided towels because they smell so badly that you feel as if you're rubbing yourself in bat pee
