Lovely flat lions
That looks rather annoying for the Buff having its eyes done
My guess on the snake is a Mole snake as it has a slender head

Re: Browns in Kruger - August 2017 (JHB Clan)
20th August 2017 continued ….
On the way back to Lower Sabie a lion scene played out for us. We spotted a pride with quite large cubs busy playing on the river bank.

Then one lioness jumped up and started stalking along our side of the river bank.

There was a herd of Impala on the other side of the river

This attracted the attention of the rest of the pride and they all sat up to watch

The stalking continues for about 200 meters

And while the lioness was hiding behind the reeds and grass, Wildebeest and Zebra had joined the Impala

The lioness sat hiding and watching for a few minutes them disappeared into the reeds.

About 5 minutes later all hell broke loose as animals scattered in all directions. The same happened in the car with shouting of “There, there… Where, where …&^%$ *&^%”, I had been looking in the wrong direction and was taking pics of everything other that the lioness

The lioness came close but unfortunately missed

An unhappy lioness heading back down the hill to the pride, where she was welcomes back by with cubs climbing all over her
