Onward!

A big 5! :-0
q.jpg
And I REALLY enjoyed this classic scene off the Mbyamiti Bridge, very much worthy of a tea! ..0..

q1.jpg

Around this point Flutts SMS'd to say that under NO circumstances was I to see them until 6 that evening, as they were tired. I had secretly been hoping for perhaps a little drive with them, and was starved for human company after hours of driving alone. :-(

I had a quick cry in the shade here in front, and then felt better! \O

The plan was to go and sit at the pan near the end of the S25, which I had watched filling up with water earlier that year! ..0.. O/\

But the pan was dry... :-(

Through the tears I maar went to book in at Crocobridge, and it took very long as there was only one person working at the peak 2:30 time... :-(

But the accommodation was a wonderful surprise, more later, and so unusual to step into the cottage which was ice cool even without aircon! (It was pretty hot outside, which it always is near Komatipoort! lol )

I had a little snooze, as I was a bit feverish and the sun had struck me a bit... O-/

Then a solo evening trip up to Gezantombi Dam, but no aminals. Very nice though! X#X

q4.jpg

(Lions appeared there just after I left. :-( )

Anyway, Plan F was to go to another pan back on the S25 that I had spotted on the way in! ..0..

Giraffe on the way! :-0
q6.jpg

Some shade, actually a marvelous spot! X#X 0()

q5.jpg

But no aminals whatsoever...I think a warthog came and briefly looked at me and then left without wallowing! @#$

:-(

So I exploded a nuclear device I had brought with me, just to ease the frustration a bit! \O
