whilst the wildebeests were still busy with their fight.
As always the many dead trees in that area were hosting a lot of white backed vultures and then it was already time for a short and final break at Crocodile Bridge camp.
We left Gesanftombi dam due to the dryness behind and turned into the S28 and we did not drove far when we got stuck once again in a traffic jam – a bit farer away a lioness was lying on a rock
in the bright sun and it had already heated up although it was still quite early.
It must indeed have been quite uncomfortable for her on her throne but she had the opportunity to walk in the shade.

The spot itself was not easy to photograph as you had to look through a hole in the dense vegetation and as nothing happened and moreover no other lions were visible we carried on but nevertheless it was great having found her again on her throne.
The impalas already started to gang up under the bushes or trees in the shade and very close we spotted an impala ram full of flies
and a bush view shot from one of our favourite roads was also a must.
