Thanks Lisbeth, 10 years back it was the same with , lots of cheetah and less lion sightings, then it changed, looks like it is going back, as they say the 10 year cycle

So around 15H00 we left for the afternoon drive, guess where we went. Yip to the Aoub and down to Auchterlone, we did not get far from the dune road when we came upon them where we had left them, but first

We found a JV martail sitting nicely in a tree

We arrived at the Cheetah's , after a bit they stood up and as luck would have it came directly towards us O\/ O\/

Image

I Then decided to photograph the Three Thorn bush with the cheetah in the back ground O** O**

While watching the cats I heard a noise and saw 2 Pg and a tawny having a dispute

It was now getting late , so last photo of the cheetah and we headed back

The last batch of cheetahs just now are Corinne and her latest boys.
I'm sure they all go separate ways by now \O

We found 2 Cheetah close to Rooiputs, We stayed with them for least 40 minutes,

They then lost interest so we thought and went over the ridge to a tree

It had now started to get late and we did not want to hang around as we had to get back for Brunch due to us not knowing where the game drive was. Arriving at the lodge 5 minutes to brunch no sign of the game drive, About 5 minutes into brunch arrives the game drive and everyone is excited   , They had just seen a cheetah hunt and kill at the turn off near rooiputs  O/ O/ 0= . It had been the 2 we where watching 10 minutes earlier   /ou/ /ou/
Them two are Gina's 2016 Boys. There were four in total in that litter. One didn't make it and the other one is a female. But not sighting of her as of yet again.
