After a superb braai and brotherly chat/argument/baptism, we slept and woke up!

Prinsadam is one of those idiots who washes the dishes so that they are not dirty when the attendant comes to wash the dishes a bit later... :-? 0-

This takes a lot of time, combined with him faffing around endlessly anyway. I have learned not to get angry, so took some pics of the camp, which is quite a unique one regarding trees and layout! lol

And eventually we were off...one of the hundreds of duikers we saw on the trip...squeezing the shot past the hat:

A goshawk on the last round of the inner Faai Loop!

q7.jpg

Lo and behold an SP jeep jockey stopped us and said there were two leopard fighting at the Faai stream crossing, and if we looked for his tyre marks there we would be in the right spot, which is quite a clever way of indicating! ..0..

We doddled off IN RELAXED FASHION without much confidence, as one tends to build up false hope and these sorts of sightings are unlikely, especially with leopard.. O-/

PA: "GO FASTER!! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SO SLOW! THE LEOPARD ARE THERE! SPEED UP!!"

We arrived at the tracks and looked around and there was nothing. However, I am nothing if not experienced, clever and resourceful, and suggested we cross the stream and look back from the heights on the other side, as one gets quite a good view! ..0..

And lo and behold one could see a clear dark spot from there, and with binocs the leopard. I thought the big spot was a big male...but only saw a small one walking when I got the binocs sorted. Anyway, we both saw at least one leopard! lol

After more searching and waiting we left as work awaited. This cow on the way out! O:V

End of this Segment!

Note to RP: If you ever get to the KTP, you are expected to do your own dishes O**

And what was it again that you said about Alf's Letaba river photo? Prinsadam's portrait looks even more skew lol
