I always wash my own dishes / plates in Kruger

A) It's not an issue. Happy to do it.

B) I think that if you leave the dishes smelling of food, it will attract some sort of animal in the night (genet, badger etc) that can only cause breakages and make a noise.

When I stayed at Lower Sabie in the 1 man hut my dishes was washed without me asking(I left them some money when I left to say thanks) someone even washed my car when I took a nap after a drive :yes: I never found the nice person -O- ^Q^ O:V

When the kitchen is outside we always wash the dishes after dinner just to avoid the naughty badger


Next trip to the bush??

Pretoriouskop is one camp we so far never stayed but sounds like a must do \O We only travelled all the roads around that camp and they are indeed fantastic - Lucky that you at least saw the leopard O\/ O\/ O\/

Bugger that! I pay a fortune for the accommodation, and I don't know of any tourism destination that makes you wash your own dishes! 0-
