RP,

The one on the pictures is one of many with this sized tusks. I can see , because of the distance, he is tusks are maybe promising. Near Boyela and Mopani I have seen a good number of bulls with promising tusks. Problem is to make get details so I can ID them based on pictures. It's just not "do-able" for me to have many bulls on the site and not be able to recognize them by tusks and (ear or other) marks.

It is so sad that the big tuskers are getting fewer by the year :-( Must be the trophy hunting 0=

There is very little chance poachers will try for such big tusks in Kruger as they are incredibly heavy to transport. The only way would be with a bakkie from staff or tourists, and very risky indeed! O-/
