I am trying to find out what Praying .antis this is. It sits on the top of the same plant and eats flies I catch for him/her.

How do I tell if this is a wingless instar or an adult member of one of the wingless (apterous) mantids, please? :-? -O- -O-

Quite small (the smallest I've ever seen), taken in Kruger

I think, if it is very tiny, as yours here it can be only a nymph. It does not look like a L1 but L2 or L3 maybe.
