What is the problem exactly?

Re: Kruger Park Sightings IPHONE IPAD APP
Which of the many?
Rhino poaching
Elephant poaching (the fence is not our responsibility)
Bushmeat poaching (don't upset the neighbours)
Hunting? (we don't issue the permits)
Vehicle and animal accidents (caused by speeding and fatigue)
Congestion (caused by sightings apps and 2 way radios, new developments, free entry week, too many vehicles entering park roads at the same point and time)
Human behaviour (lack of education and no consequences for those who willingly break the rules)
or is it simply that those in a position to make a difference do not have the solutions or do not want to take the required actions?
While Sanparks might not read or participate in these discussions (which are our personal opinions), it is a useful way of exploring new ideas. I can't see that we will all be invited to the new safari lodge for a workshop in Skukuza

I have to agree with this.
Reposting is a big endorsement of Latest Sightings.
Nice to have the added "traffic".....but......

I's not about traffic, it's the obsession of this forum to create all sorts of databases,

Maybe not all members hate latestsightings?
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
What problem does the sightings app cause in Kruger, vs benefits?

Speeding and chaos at sightings! IMO no benefits

We can agree to disagree!
Congestion at sightings and speeding have been around since long before apps, and in my opinion SANParks have a financial axe to grind with Latestsightings, which also provides a convenient diversion from the elephant in the room that is rampant commercialism and overcrowding allowed in Kruger, which is the main problem along with speeding by staff and taxis and delivery vehicles and contractors etc.
