I think they drink the clean water that gathers in the rock pools after rain. ..0..

q3.jpg

A little further one turns off down the H2-2 Voortrekker road. We had lots of time so I suggested we go down it a bit to the rhino camp and see how the corrugations were... O-/

The road was terrible and we were about to turn around when I noticed a huge ellie had popped into the road behind us!

q4.jpg

I haven't seen a bull this tall in many years indeed! He is quite young too so aat must keep tabs! \O

q6.jpg
But he was obsessed with his trunk and followed us for quite a while before we managed to escape past him! O:V

Back at the turnoff we continued down the Faai loop, and it wasn't long before there was another one! 0*\

In the drizzle this looks like the Congo or something... [O]

q7.jpg

Eventually the trunk rested on the tusks again we clicked that it was the same ellie that had taken a short cut from the H2! :o0ps:

Animals are scarce in the rain and soon we were at the Faai Stream. O:V
