but the rest indeed was quiet and far too soon we already reached Babalala picnic spot but at least along the tar we noticed in the distance waterbucks

and impalas some took a rest whilst others were up and fighting

but all of them had a lovely place under huge shady trees.

A Wahlberg eagle also showed up

a lot of zebras were hanging around,

as well as giraffes

and Carmine bee eaters were plentiful but once again it got extreme quiet and as it was still quite early

and as we were not willing to leave already we decided to do the small detour to Klopperfontein but what to say it was there quiet as well besides a rock full of sunbathing terrapins.

It started to heat up again and it got extreme hot and far in the distance we noticed a goshawk indeed another rare bird for us in Kruger and due to the heat and distance not such a clear picture

and then the very last loop had to be done - the Mahonie loop also one of our favourites but also today far too quiet but we stopped for buffaloes taking a rest in the shade,

I can never get around how different it is in the wet compared to drought when I always go there, Pumbaa!

Nice view of that waterhole in the Mphongolo, it holds water for a LONG time!

I like the impala lying flat, you don't often see that. Lovely to see all the green.

The scenery is always so very special in the entire park and even so different

I like the impala lying flat, you don't often see that. Lovely to see all the green.

It is looking always so funny but obviously it was far too early for the impala
