Can you remember where exactly you found the Lispe, sould be close to a waterhole or to some water in camp?

... and if you put up something here, give also some context information: exact spot, behaviour etc.

Can you remember where exactly you found the Lispe, sould be close to a waterhole or to some water in camp?
Those pics were taken in May, and there was definitely excess water that time of year due to the rains. I believe we were staying at Mata Mata, and I know there were puddles in the roads/bush areas in camp where I try to find insects. Also, I very often pour water in the ground where I am sitting and just wait for it to attract insects - quite effective.

Oh yes, almost forgot, the gentleman from the museum said the "Anthomyiidae" is actually a Muscidae member, and will pass it on to see if anything further can be known from just a pic...
