Silence, then a monkey called and chattered...Must be leopard...Waited in silence for about 3 minutes and was about to start the engine and leave at the 'false alarm' Then he appeared in all his glory...The S56 isa DREAM road

Peter, your pics are absolutely amazing, what equipment do you use. I'm a bit like Lis, my camera stays on "Auto". The definition in yours is incredible.

Maybe you can give us dummies a few lessons in the photographic section

Hi iNdlovu

I use a Nikon D3S full frame FX camera for low light shooting like here and I have 2 Wild Life Lenses a Nikkor 70-200VRII f2.8 zoom which always wears a 1.4 x convertor to give me 280 f4 as my camera does not have crop factor so 200mm is 200mm and not 300mm on a crop factor camera. Then I have a big Prime the ultra sharp Nikkor 500 F4 VRII Tele lens which I seldom use with a 1.4x convertor ...only for little birds...Its the full frame sensor that adds the quality I believe matched up to great glass also helps.

By the way I shot on ISO 3200 here and I shoot AV or Aperture priority for moving subjects and manual everything when I havea stationery subject.
