Thanks for this interesting info Klippies, unfortunately only got this shot. I moved into a different position, but then it slipped off the rock and wet under. I'll keep my eyes open and try to find it again.
Well, it's great being on leave and being able to get out and take photos. But, the weather has its own plans. If it's not wet and overcast,

it's touching 40C with crazy humidity.
Down at the river, this Grey Heron caught the sun beautifully...

With all the rain, the Olifants is muddy and running strong from bank to bank. This makes for ideal conditions for the Crocodiles, they are practically undetectable...
