Well done on the DWARF BITTERN Michele I have only seen one in far more likely Kruger Park in a very wet season about 9 years ago ..Rooiputs under water again ??

Just when I think there are no more birds for me to see in the KTP I managed to add another two birds to my list.
The first being Marsh Owl at Gharagab on 7/09/2021.

WOW, what a congregation That alone is a sighting that doesn't occur too often!
Is that a Verreaux's on the right and is it possible that there is at least one other marsh owl Maybe even more.
The feathers on some of those of which you can't see the faces don't look like barn owls. But it might be the light playing a trick.
