Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
Thank you, all!
Time for some pics taken this week.
First up, a Red-billed Oxpecker making a noise on the back of a Giraffe...
Yesterday morning I was lucky enough to have this Helmet-Shrike perch right next to my stoep, which gave a great opportunity for a close-up shot...
Down at the river yesterday evening, this Kudu bull made an appearance...
He then started horning the ground and coating his horns in mud...
Next up, a cat sighting this morning...

Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
This morning I went out on drive, hoping to have good sightings, as the weather was nice and cool for a change. I hadn't gone very far when I spotted two Lion cubs lying in the road...
When I got closer, they stood up and moved off the road, but stayed very close...
I then saw mom watching them, from not too far away...
This little on was very curious and kept watching me, with mom in the background...
Next, a few more mammals this morning...

Re: Grietjie Private Reserve
The last few for today, a Jackal that was interested in something just off the road...
A very relaxed Steenbok, didn't even bother to look at me...
See no evil, hear no evil, Elephant style...
Back at home, the lawn was full of Impala, must easily have been 50 of them just relaxing...
Until next time, from the banks of the Olifants...
