Richprins' Short Business Trips to The Park

We screamed around the Manung loop quickly as the gates were closing!

And booked into our 3-bed 1 bath rondawel! It is always a mystery as to whether one will get the normal tall whiskey glasses at PK....thankfully I had brought my own!

And quickly it got cold and a fire got up! (That bottle of wine was the beginning of what later became known as The Trouble... )

Ahhhhhh....

The grid was wonkey and would not stay over the fire. After the two brothers had made very clever Gauteng plans to stabilise it, which failed, Richprins came up with a quick solution and was Smug!

Prinsadam is a cuisinarte, so lovely food! Prinswilliam later cleaned the wax off the table, but that torch of his was left behind and never heard of again... )

Frightening things happened late into the night in the house that night....the less said the better, so let's skip to next morning!


While waiting for them to ablute:

And off we went down the Voortrekker Road. We were due to meet Dwarf at Afsaal, and were obviously very late...

So we had some tea!

It was still very wet for June!

But Ship Mountain gorgeous as always!

The food looks delicious, but the table is terribly messy. A wonder that you did not burn down the whole thing with that fire

Is that red wine with ice cubes?

I think it is brandy and coke!

The food looks mouthwatering Note to myself: Get breakfast soon...

So, The Trouble, hey? Wonder what that is all about.

And if you don't want to talk about your debauched conduct during the dark hours, then stop making insinuations. That's not very nice

The Trouble came from too much tea! But it was actually lovely fun!

And at Afsaal we found a patient Dwarf, seen here showing how many aminals he had seen!

The place was packed!

Prinsadam and Prinswilliam made a sumptuous breakfast, while Dwarf and I sat like lords waiting!

And onwards with Dwarf to destinations unknown! ...



A vulture explosion just outside the picnic spot...we could not see the carcass...

Dwarf insisted on turning left there, which would have taken us to Skukuza...his direction is not always so good...



We turned right, and soon my first ellies of the trip!
