Most awesome news on the cheetahs:

Firstly - because she's in my heart - Hannah is alive and well and has produce four cubs herself. She's been hiding them for an unusual long time. About 6 to 7 months. But over the last weeks they have been seen in the upper Auob.

Secondly - and that is actually the more fascinating one - Lizzie has four tiny cubs as well. AND she still has her first cub Lokesh with her The maths suggest that she must have had mated in May/June when the boy was only a year old. Now he's still part of the family and acting as the big brother. A behaviour like that is unheard of even by people who deal with cheetahs professionally in any kind of way. So a very unique and extremely outstanding event in the cheetah world.

Wow, pretty interesting developments there. Thanks for keeping us updated, especially when it's such GOOD news!

Also, check the index. I've updated many of the current and past cheetahs now. There is still more to come though.
It's incredible how many new cheetah popped up everywhere and we don't have the slightest clue where they come from.

Btw, when I say "we" I'm talking about the relatively new cheetah sighting group on Facebook. It's a public group, so even those without a FB account should be able to see it.
