As they came closer, we realized that there were some not so new borns in the breeding herd trying their luck at the milk bar
But besides the bovines, we had to settle for some bird sightings
Not that that in itself is anything bad. We do enjoy them, but we were being greedy
We saw this fork tailed drongo
And a juvenile PCG

This tawny eagle was to be our last raptor sighting of our trip, and it was a magnificent specimen

On our way back to camp
These gemsbok were in perfect afternoon lighting (Isn’t that just so Kgalagadi )
And a puff adder was slithering away on the side of the road

Sunday 16th May 2021
The day we were to leave the park and only to return in May 2022
We packed up our tent and after a short trip up north we were back on our way to Cape Town
A Gemsbok
And a BBJ were our last sightings of the trip
