Guests are hereby informed that there's a power outage from Eskom at Skukuza Rest Camp. We are currently running with two generators supplying the whole camp.
The issue has been reported to Eskom. We ask our valued guests to please be patient with us while we wait for a resolution from Eskom. We are uncertain as to how long the outage from Eskom will last, therefore we are not sure how long the generators will keep running and supply full capacity power to the whole camp without overheating.

All our valued guests are hereby informed that Eskom power in Skukuza Rest Camp is fully restored as well as all three generators working during loadshedding.
The update was not posted immediately to see if Eskom power would stay on and the generators could cope. We have now established that power is fully restored.

Management is aware that guests have recently experienced wifi problems from Cattle Baron in Satara and Skukuza Rest Camps. Please note that the internet contract that they were using has lapsed, causing this issue. A new service provider is being engaged with a resolution in the near future. Please be patient with us as we go through the relevant processes.


Another tender allowed to lapse without making a plan.

Guests are hereby notified that we are currently experiencing internet connection problems at Skukuza Rest Camp. Technicians are working to resolve the problem. Our 3G connection is also affected at this point in time. Skukuza reception will thus operate manually until the internet issues are resolved. Our land lines are also affected.
