Those Mpila camp bushpigs have become very brave. The camp used to be full of hyenas at night also, but they have been missing since the Covid lockdown. I see many say that they moved off because there were no people to steal/beg chow from, but a reliable source and ranger in the reserve told me that KZN parks used to opportunity to get rid of them, so I hope that the same fate doesn't await the pigs.Richprins wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 6:18 pm Catching up at last, Bushy!![]()
What a wonderful last couple of days, especially with all the cheetah!![]()
The bushpig encounter is brilliant and enthralling!
KZN parks must really wake up with their maintenance, I fear corruption is standard there, plus laziness.![]()
You really did see every possible thing, almost, on this trip!
Thank you so much for the effort of your TTs, they are really special and something to look forward to, may there be many more!

I don't think there's much will from the staff to do anything that requires hard work. The honorary rangers are the only people we ever see doing anything

Thanks for the TT compliment
