KZN parks must really wake up with their maintenance, I fear corruption is standard there, plus laziness. :evil:

You really did see every possible thing, almost, on this trip!

Those Mpila camp bushpigs have become very brave. The camp used to be full of hyenas at night also, but they have been missing since the Covid lockdown. I see many say that they moved off because there were no people to steal/beg chow from, but a reliable source and ranger in the reserve told me that KZN parks used to opportunity to get rid of them, so I hope that the same fate doesn't await the pigs. O/

I don't think there's much will from the staff to do anything that requires hard work. The honorary rangers are the only people we ever see doing anything 0:
