Re: Insect or Invertebrates Identification
Thanks Lisbeth, and your right: there are many very useful family-index-pages on this forum I have happely used many times.
Unfortunate only 2 Acrotylus-species among those pages, out of 9 possible in Namibia
Based on those pages however I do believe it is neither A. patruelis or A. diana, so 7 to go...
Maybe A. longipes... but hopefully someone can tell for sure.

Re: Insect or Invertebrates Identification
April 2022, near Koiimasis Ranch, Helmeringhausen, Namibia.
I think subfamily Euryphyminae, perhaps genus Amblyphymus (I think i've ruled out Rhachitopis, but do not know for sure).
https://africawild-forum.com/viewtopic. ... 43#p496443
According to this site, there is only 1 species of Amblyphymus in Namibia, in which case this could be Amblyphymus transvaalicus.

However I can't find any keys online to confirm or refute.
Does anyone here has some Grasshopper-keys in their personal library?
