God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Garden Bird Pics!!
I have only found this thread now.
What an amazing place a garden can be.
There are amazing photos on the previous pages so congrats to all of you. If I now had to sit here and mention you one by one it would take me a couple of days.
Being on pension once again I have been practicing with Joans camera on the bird activity in our garden. Unfortunately , the wall by the bird feeder is rather unsightly and does not lend itself to good photography. I tried putting up a blue plastic sheet, that I use when painting, but that too is rather unsightly.
I am now going to pinch one of our sheets and try cover the wall with that.
My ultimate photo is to capture a bird in flight in perfect focus. I have been using 1/4000 of a second but still cannot seem to get them crystal sharp.
Will post some soon.

Until then....
I did read something about the ISO setting for 'in-flight' this morning.
I will dig into it and we will try and sort on the Photograph lessons thread.
