Not what I asked, RP. :)
Yeah I'm in what now, post 3? For being pegged as an active enemy of SANParks, in incredibly lax in my duties. :)
I'm reading in my iPhone so I may have missed some things. Trying to determine what is going on.

Stark, welcome back.
If you want the truth, hang around here a bit more. I see they have already moved the 'controversial' post from public eyes.

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Hey stark, welcome back.
From what I can gather, members of the media spoke to Mabasa
Nobody is an active enemy of SanParks, but it seams that if you disagree with anything they do, you must be an enemy...childishly pathetic.

Man was placed in charge and given the duty of caring for all creation, are we doing it?

There's the start-up, Stark.Richprins wrote:During the excellent work done by various agencies in evacuating both tourists and staff from various camps or compounds during the recent floods in Kruger National Park, some shocking discoveries were made.
Illegal tenants inhabiting certain staff accommodations, including Mozambiquan nationals.
Rhino horn and related poaching equipment.
Other forms of contraband.
Kruger has refused to comment on the matter, stating that as rhino poaching is involved, all queries will be handled by the Department of Environmental Affairs.
Police queried gave the same answer.
My question is this: Why should the presence of illegal aliens in a Parastatal housing complex have to be addressed by the DEA?
I got a call from an informant, passed it on to media, who contacted Mr Mabasa, who referred them to DEA. Police did the same.
The reason was rhino-poaching matters need to follow the DEA channel.
The laxity around control of staff compounds has been an often-mentioned problem for years now, and that must stop, regarding the bigger picture, ESPECIALLY in these times of Rhino Poaching...end of story!

Re: Floods Reveal Scandals in KNP Staff Villages
Dearie dearie me - here we go again. For goodness sake if there is no element of truth then say so but the longer they footle around evading the issue then public media will continue to speculate. We have been pointing fingers at the uncontrolled access to staff villages for donkey's years and nobody has been prepared to stop and listen. Any written complaint about street children going through our garbage, tramps in the camp at Skukuza and down and outs foraging in the bins at Lower Sabie has simply been fobbed off. The problem has now reached proportions of such propensity that I do not know how you close the stable door when the horse has bolted!
