We trust that everyone has had a most enjoyable long weekend and if you did do some travelling then you are home safely.
On Thursday we went into London to do some sightseeing. The wind was blowing and cut right through to the bone.
Our first sightings were some trams near Gravel Hill.
At South Croydon Station I thought I would take a pic of the train coming in but all it did was to hurtle straight past us so all I got was this.
At Victoria Station I got this shot of one of the new Routemaster buses introduced in 2012. We also saw the old Routemaster so lets do some comparisons.

Joan and me and Piccadily Circus.
Found this lovely statue near Victoria Station.
Next - our disastrous trip of over 600 miles or 970 kilometres to try and photograph a steam train.
