Right, if you will all bear with me, lets go back to 7 April to steam train chasing - my next favourite pastime to searching for leoprds, lions, cheetah, sable, kudu, fish eagle, impala and dung beatles.

Tangmere roars through Andover station.




Then a liitle way past Salisbury at a small level crossing near Wilton.




As we drove past Stonehenge Ken took this shot from the moving car.


AS we still hand time on our hands we decided to pop in at a railway heritage club called " The Watercress Line" near Alton. They were having a Thomas the Tank Engine day.

Thomas enters Medstead and Four Marks station.


The other loco leaves the station.


The signal box at Medstead and Four marks.


Thomas returns to Medstead and Four marks.


We then went in search of lineside spot in the countryside.






Time to head home.

The last few pics - I felt I needed to take at lrast some, even if it was of traffic signals.

Overhead traffic signals on the way to Heathrow - the speed advisory will adjust with the traffic conditions. Note the far left warning of an accident on another motorway.

According to the pamphlet he was but there are 4 stations along the route and we only went to Medstead and For Marks.
