Yes indeed Amoli, just by the manner in which they prowl
through the camp sites all spread-out!!
One day, when returning to Punda camp site my neighbour
camper approached me rather apologetically like, excusing
himself for tampering and re- arranging our camp site cause
the vervets got stuck in. No problem to me and thought it to
be a good gesture.
Next day we decided to stay in late at camp. When all visitors
were out and early morning personnel had done their turn, when
all hell broke loose!! They were everywhere these monsters.
Kitchen utensils and household goodies could be heard getting
re- adjusted. Even cast iron pots and pans were upturned and
pushed from the tables in order to get at whatever was inside!!
My word, total chaos there was. Ended -up doing a favour in
return!!
Must say it seemed they had a whopping good meal the night
before!!!
Judged from what the little vervet paws left for evidence.
These little 'okes leave no lid unturned..
