I'll post a little more info...The Bangu stream is a tributary of the Olifants River, and is used by both Olifants Trail and Bangu backpaker trails.

As far as I know the Bangu trail did not materialise - the terrain in the Lebombo ridges was regarded as too trying .

I am sitting in my car, juggling for little bits of shade, at a small water trough within a few metres of a dirt road...some may say remote!

Elephant are coming! (This is prime area for them!)

(In fact, this may be the closest cement trough to a road in Kruger...there is no lookout point...)
