This tale is doing serious damage to my health. Haven't laughed that much in ages!
Thanks guys, for this highly entertaining narration. O:V

The night was a bit of a blur for me..a bit of sunstroke, I think! Anyway...whatever they say! \O

That salad was incredible, but agreed, no fish! 0:

I sat "quietly" for much of the time, and listened to the stories and songs of the ancients...very cultural! ;-)

Dewi, the only thing that told me "martial" was that it was absolutely HUGE! ^0^ I must reveal that at some point we ALL agreed it was a Palm nut vulture, then ALL agreed it was an immature fish eagle...iNdy has obviously dug up an old tome regarding Wahlberg's...not quite the time of year, though! =O: =O: =O:

The thing flew around us for hours, and was there the next day too! 0*\

We did see a jackal near the "shady rhino" area, though...so a predator! \O

One of my nightly chores was carrying two big glasses of water to the Guest Tent...naturally in one of the furthest, darkest and most mountainous corners of the camp. I am very proud of that achievement, especially on the second evening! ^Q^ O/\ O\/

Although I did almost place the offering in the ablution block by mistake...

The water there is delicious, by the way! \O

Hey, youngster BC!

It was a long day! ^0^

BTW, on some of the vehicle pics one can see that the rear seats were occupied by our coolers, and my handy basket bearing the glasses and other paraphernalia. My monstercooler can perch during rough rides, but the smaller cooler had problems.

Protocol dictated I should hold it back when approaching a steep descent, of which there were many, using my functional left hand.! \O

(My right hand was still suitable for "lite" duty).

After the first few upper body marathons, I gave up, and "Cooler B" was left to its own devices, and settled down nicely onto the basket. I can highly recommend these baskets, btw...bought at any curio shack or from any Amanzimtoti beach hawker.

I must say RP tried his best to kkep the cooler firmly on the rear seat as we all were terrified that if it fell off, we would loose our ice for the sundowners. I recall him shouting and resorting to kicking me in the head because he wanted me to stop so he could get a branch or something to prop it up. -O-

RP... 0- only because you were too busy yelling that the bird we struggled to ID was a Budgie and kept going on about it's yellow beak or something.
You really got nailed with sunstroke Rich, hence the doses of medicine that Nurse Sprocky kept feeding you. Sunstroke through the eyeballs =O: 0*\ 0*\

Viewers, the Boss is obsessed with violent activity...there was none of that... 0*\

I would just add a slap from behind to reinforce positive behaviour, as he is deaf? Worked well! ^Q^

I didn't think teachers were allowed to do that these days, but must admit, I'm happy that you haven't lost the nack
I do recall RP getting very serious at one stage, showing much concern for my impaired hearing or pretty well non existant hearing and giving me his best lecture on my need for a hearing aid.
Something like "listen you old fart. Get a blankety blank hearing aid so that we can have a conversation some time".......it's so nice to know he cares X#X
