Welcome, Lauraa! O0

It's a bit difficult, maybe?

Schools are very short of money on our subcontinent, as over most of the world, and teachers trying their best?

They are doing nothing illegal, and regarding sustainable utilisation of wildlife...that is what hunting is all about? The kicker is, while many decry hunting etc. a significant number support elephant culling in Kruger, for example?

We must be careful here, I think? -O-

I understand and respect your position. I am from the US and I am not able to see any amazing african wildlife. I am a vegetarian & do not support zoos, or circuses. The reason I started the petition was because I saw all the negative comments & felt the same way. I am one of thousands around the world who believe this school could raffle something different to raise money. There are always alternatives to senseless violence. I will probably never have the chance to touch a magnificent elephant, and it sad that someone else will be hunting and killing one for fun. I do not support trophy hunting, factory farming of animals, wearing or buying items made with fur or other animal parts. I do not feel that animals belong to us. They are not ours to eat, kill or exploit.
