Nossob is the problem as there are over 80 cars there now if the camp is full with only 2 roads to drive out. we there end of OctoberLisbeth wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 8:57 am What an excellent idea![]()
When was the trip, PR?
Gorgeous chase pics, lucky fish!![]()
I never got around to see a cheetah in full speed, which has always been one of my bush wishes.
You are so right about Nossob. I did not even like it 10 years ago, imagine todayThe new accomodations are like suburb habitations in any town
Flutterby is right, SG looks great![]()
Thanks Roger, it is great to seeRogerFraser wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 7:50 pmWow great start to the TR .

My fondest memory of Kalahari (as it was called last time I was theremany moons ago ) was a cheetah chasing down an impala .

Thanks Dindingwe, a start like that is not great as your expectations for the trip are then too high, as for the pictures total wash out , the speed was too slow for the action, did not make that same mistake the next time
We where there end of October, Twee Rivieren is not that bad as the roads are wide there , but Nossob is another story as there are now over 80 cars in that camp if it is full, we will only now do Rooiputs and Polentswa , NossobMel wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 11:45 pm Yup, I'd start my KTP trip with such a sighting any time![]()
When did you actually go?
Otherwise I agree… more and more people there. But we experience crowded times as well as empty roads -
and that is although the park is fully booked. Sometimes I wonder where they all go.
