10 June 2018 - Part 2/3

Scenes from the S100.

A hooded vulture and an unidentified one. Could also be a white backed?

We popped into Satara for a comfort break and I got this shot of a Red-billed Firefinch - a first for us. O\/ O\/

Arrived back at Orpen to get ready for our sunset drive. We also get 40% of drives as pensioners. ^Q^

To be continued.

Great pic of the finch ^Q^ ^Q^

The 40% discount only works for SA citizens. Most likely I would not go on one anyway, but it is just not fair  In Europe it works for all nationalities and even in Russia!

Thank you Lisbeth. I was amazed that it stood still for me.

It is a great pity that overseas visitors do not qualify for discounts.

10 June 2018 - Part 3/3

While waiting for our sunset drive I got a few more sunbird pics.

We went to waiting area and there was another game viewing truck there. The guide said to us " Would you like to see our python."

Well we all followed him through reception and out the back door. He pointed up into a tree and we really struggled to find it. We eventually saw a bit of it curled up near the top of the tree.

Some pics from the sunset drive.

Unfortunately nothing else special was seen. :-(
