If only O** :-0 :-0
I think they must have been extremely young still... this was the last we saw of the lions on this trip. The cubs (assuming they survive) will have to wait for next time \O

But wow! your luck didn't seem to run out at all  Cheetahs again as well as another aardwolf, lion again and an eland that doesn't run off. Can it get any better?
I don't think so. :-0
Can it get any better? I'll let you decide Mel ;-)
I'll rest my case =O: =O: =O:

What is there to say when the animals ALWAYS seem to walk towards you guys? -O-
Fair enough, I mixed that comment up with what I saw on the Addo thread, but still... lol lol lol

Really, really great! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

I think our kids are animal magnets which is why they can't help but head towards us =O: =O:

It was our last day in the park :-(
We were packed up and ready for an early start in the hope of finding the lions again up on Rooiplaat. Whilst packing the car some movement just down the road caught my attention and I couldn't believe my eyes - a caracal popped out from between the chalets and ducked across the road into the bushes O/\ O/\ O\/ O\/ :-0
No photos unfortunately as it all happened so quickly... even the kids and S missed it as they were inside at the time so they were bummed 0*\

A great start to the day was followed by a spectacular sunrise O:V

Image

Up on Rooiplaat the lions weren't to be seen, but some eland were around the area where we had seen the lionesses

Image

As we continued around Rooiplaat there were no signs of any cats but we had nice sightings of the regulars O:V

We found a secretary bird close to the road and I presume it was a young one as the colours hadn't fully developed :-?

Image

As we started to drop down from Rooiplaat along the link road we said our goodbye's to the iconic zebras including one of the next generation ^Q^

Image

Image

We found many of the same animals on Ubejane as we had the first day we entered the park...

Even the verreaux's eagle made a fly-past on our way out O:V

What an amazing 4 nights/5 days we had been treated to. As you've seen if you've been following along, the sightings far exceeded my wildest expectations.
I'm looking forward to going back and visiting again sometime... but I get the feeling it might be a bit of a let down after this trip =O: 0:

Even a caracal 0*\ lol

Those "cut" clouds during sun rise look quite unreal

Lovely pics of lovely locals, they are all beautiful animals ^Q^ ^Q^

Yah, maybe a return would be a dangerous experiment, on the other hand with your luck, who knows =O:

This was really a great trip to a lovely park! I enjoyed it all a lot O/\ O/\

Thank you, Pete O0
