Mana Pools - 1989 - ^Q^ Elephant between us and the loo when we arrived. The ferry trip was amazing and will remain a highlight of our trip that year. In camp, we decided to sleep on the back of the bakkie (truck) instead of in our tent. :O^ Put the cooler box in the tent. In the morning the hyena had ripped open the box and taken the cheese and butter 0*\ Went for a walk with the game guard which was magical and took a canoe on the river, paddling amongst buffs and hipps - all snorting at us and making me giggle with fear =O: Our camp site consisted of a tree with a tap attached to it - wonderful!
