This was in the year of the big floods, and we were shocked as to how the landscape had changed! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Clear water, no reeds and a lot of algae...sort of like a new beginning...but not very attractive, IMO!?

Here is Stark taking notes and stuffing his face with biltong/droëwors....he loves the stuff, and the KZN and Burgersfort Cartels had brought in prime quality uncut product across the provincial borders, hidden in their...let's not go into much detail! O:V

The little loop down to the Timbavati once on heads back to camp:







Stark: "You know (munch munch) thish musht be the unluckiesht (glug glug) vehicle to be in in the entire hishtory of Kruger!"

RP: "Well, I wouldn't say that..."

Stark: "Careful that elephant! Ash I wash shaying..."




We really had a great time, without seeing many animals that afternoon...which is what Kruger is about? Elephant did chase us around on the way back, too dark for pics!
