I just wish they could build some sort of roof over the patio area because every time we were there it rained and I struggled to braai
Oh that noise from the construction could be horrible if one just wants to relax at camp during the day
That yellow thing is called a TLB.

All heavy equipment in construction are normally yellow so it stands out for a safety point of view.
A small covered section would be a good idea Alf. Assuming it doesn't rain then of course it's nice to be in the sunshine, but unfortunately at this time of year the patio area was almost entirely in shade for our unit.
Yellow safety makes sense
Thanks Lis. There are bar stools to eat at the counter inside

Very much worth a visit

Stunning scenery from your chalet.

Thanks Dewi - yes the scenery is great. It's one of the most relaxing camps I've been to

Hope you also managed to see the meerkats on Ubejane at some Point

The squirrels down there are rather bold in any case

But cute
Love the antelope scenery on Rooiplat. Nothing better than a landscape like that dotted with animals
Hope you found the lions later on! The Kids look quite anticipating and it would be a shame to disappoint them
Because of the building going on, we booked the guesthouse again for next year. Let's just hope the electricity holds up, so we don't have to put up with the Generator again instead of the much longed for silence under a star-lit sky

Ubejane is good for all sorts of smaller creatures... we'll meet some more later
I do hope that the guesthouse is a better experience for you next time! Are you going to be back in Addo as well?

Good looking family.

Thank you Flutts... they take after their mom
